Hallo,

My name is Robert and i'am from Holland.

My german is not so good,so i write in english.

I'am building an Komatsu pc490-11 from Fumotec.

The problem is that the hoses from the boom to the servo's constant grinding against the frame or fold.

I hope there is someone who can help me with a picture of how its done.

I put a few pictures here and hope it clears the problem.

Hello Robert,

i think the hoses are too short. They need more space to be able to move. There's a big difference in the length of the hoses whether the boom is in highest or lowest position.

It's better to lay the hoses in circles, especially in the space under the centre of rotation of the boom. I think a bit of grinding is ok and impossible to prevent. The most important thing is to prevent too sharp bends in the hoses.

It's a bit difficult, but not impossible!

After a while i maneged to make it.

The machine is far from finished,but a few first pics in the sun.

I just ordered a PC490 from Fumotec in a kit form. Can others share how and what you did for painting? Tips? I'm very new at painting and my skills are terrible.
