The model I built is the MST300LCH.
This model is quite small and compact, belonging to the 30-ton class. I chose to build this model because I liked its appearance. Here is a picture of the model.
I'm sharing the construction stages of the infrastructure with you. The chassis, made of 1.5, 2, and 3.5mm stainless steel sheets, was bent with a press brake and joined using the point welding method. After sandblasting, I applied RAL9005 powder paint.
The lower track wheels are made of aluminum, and the pre-tensioning wheels are also made of metal. I used a 10mm diameter, 60mm blue spring for track tensioning on the excavator.
I machined the turret rotation system. I'm using two bearings. The turret system is generally made of aluminum and secured with four M4 screws.
The excavator connection point is made of metal and a turret gear has been installed. Finally, the outer casing, which I've pressed with SLA resin, will be added. We provide continuous rotation and electrical transmission in the center of the turret system with a 6-channel sliding ring connection.
The lower track wheels were machined, 18 in total, with 9 on each side. They were connected with 4mm pins; the pin's insertion point is narrower, ensuring a tight fit.
As we neared the end of the infrastructure work, we made the track mud cleaning apparatus and connected them with M2 screws. This is what the painted chassis looks like.
